I put down the pen and picked up the Camera. I'm still creating poetry
Why I do this? As a creative, I have found my way of releasing my thoughts, words and feelings into capturing moments. There was once a time where I would willingly pick up a pen and write, as the days got shorter and the adulting became longer, I found the knack to freeze moments in time. What I could no longer do in my book, I did with my camera. Long before I knew of this talent, I would always say that "the mind of Minolta can't produce what I picture". The irony in knowing I was ahead of myself as now I shoot everything "out of my Canon". I can look at a picture and remember the whole story behind it. I remember where I was, who was with me and how I felt ...Just as I once could with my words. I now create stories from the picture.
